Ólixir is closer to a Fruit Juice than it is to an Oil.
Fresh Ólixir has significantly higher quantities of Vitamin E and Polyphenols, which keep your heart healthy.
The Process of Perfection.
Step 1
Our oldest tree is more than 200 years old and in all that time, not a drop of fertilizer or pesticide has touched our family orchard in Sicily.
Step 2
Gently picked by hand, by family and friends. We pick them when they’re green and full of life, keeping in mind that it won’t just be our family who’ll get to enjoy Ólixir.
Step 3
On the same day that they’re picked, we rush them to the mill for extraction. Not a single bottle of Ólixir sold till date has contained oil that was extracted less than 12 hours from the time of picking.
Step 4
This is where technology takes over. Using 21st century extractive techniques gives Ólixir it’s unique and unreplicatable flavour profile. It’s cold-pressed, meaning the temperate never exceeds 21* C.
Step 5
And all of a sudden, it’s worth it. Ólixir is subtle but strong. It’s crispness is balanced by the calmness you feel after enjoying a meal made with Ólixir.
