I founded the start-up in 2019 with a view to researching, growing and selecting natural products which couple superior sensorial experience (aroma/taste) with high impact health benefits, so that people can live longer / healthier lives while delighting their senses. Ólixir® is our first product and we are proud to share it with you.

is a Superfood
Not using harmful pesticides is our starting point but not our destination. We go beyond that; we work in harmony with nature to harness the best nutrition so that Olixir® has a positive impact on your health and that of your family.
No, Ólixir® is not just another organic extra virgin olive oil, it is much more. It is a uniquely functional superfood.
335mg/kg of polyphenols antioxidants* or ~1.5x the concentration proven effective on your cardiovascular health.
These antioxidants help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress. Polyphenols are naturally occurring antioxidants that support your health by decreasing the amount of circulating oxidized LDL cholesterol (also known as bad cholesterol).
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 to 30g of olive oil (2 to 3 tablespoons) a day. The EU Food Safety Authority (EFSA) approves the use of such a claim only for extra virgin olive oils containing more than 250mg/Kg of polyphenols. Ólixir 2020 contains 428mg/kg at the time of bottling.

Olixir®’s bouquet has a fruity aura, opening with elegant notes of green olives, followed by fresh and herbaceous ones of wild herbs and artichoke, ending in a hint of black pepper. In mouth, it’s well rounded and harmonious. The gustative and retro-nasal sensations match and enhance its aromas. It proudly reveals a degree of pleasant bitterness and piquancy witnessing the presence of polyphenols.
The Ólixir® Initiation Ritual
- Pour 2 tablespoons in a wine glass.
- Warm it in your hand; your temperature will help the aromas to evaporate
- Hold the glass (covered) for around a minute.
- Bring the glass to your nose, breathe in and enjoy the oil’s bouquet.
- To taste: take a small sip of oil, while also sipping some air. To spread it throughout your mouth to all your taste buds.
- Note its round mouthfeel and a pleasant degree of bitterness and spiciness in your throat.
