Once on your plate, olixir® releases incredible, vibrant aromas. You’ll experience notes of green olives, as well as hints of tomato leaves and fragrant Sicilian herbs. In dishes, its round, moderately intense taste elevates any preparation with its unique flavor.
HEALTH BENEFITS, OLIXIR®: AN ELIXIR MADE IN COLLABORATION WITH NATURE
Our olive trees are grown following organic principles. We harvest the olives while they’re still green and cold-press them within 12 hours using a low-oxygen process. The olive oil is then filtered through cellulose panels to remove 100% of any residues, yielding olixir®—our organic extra virgin olive oil, rich in beneficial micro-components for health. Its core nutritional properties include:
- Protects blood lipids from oxidation due to its heart-protective antioxidant concentration.
- Shields cells from oxidative stress with a high Vitamin E content.
- Helps reduce cholesterol thanks to its high levels of healthy monounsaturated fats (Oleic Acid)**.
- Low acidity ensures high-quality nutrition.
The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 20g of olive oil (~two tablespoons/day).
Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet has been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels.
